This seems like a pretentious thing to say, but I can’t tell. In my head I think everything I say is either dumb or pretentious and dumb.

When I was in high school, I don’t think I was pretentious, but sometimes I would write things—like poems…

I spent a long time last night learning an Elliott Smith song with someone. She played piano and I played guitar. We both sang and were drunk. I like Elliott Smith a lot. And I think he killed himself. Like, some people think it’s a conspiracy—that his girlfriend killed him, but I don’t. I think he was sad and he killed himself and Kurt Cobain too.

I think this thing I am doing is probably an annoying thing to do, but I don’t care because it’s 3:49 a.m. and I am drunk and if I’m drunk I don’t care. I eat babies for lunch when I’m drunk. I stomp on pianists’ fingers for dinner when I’m drunk. Burn down cities and shit. Being drunk is cool.

I have a keyboard on my lap and I want a cat. But I’m allergic.

Wish I knew how to do the thing that’s like a response to a response because of this one:

Was going to inform you that this string of posts was enthralling

but I don’t think it would be fair to settle on thus, because, while it’s true

I’ve gone out since reading them, I bought JUICE BOXES for everyone.

I wish I had some of that JUICE.

Look how many notes I’m getting. I’m drowning in notes!

NO this is SAND!. I’m DROWNING IN SAND

and WHISKEY. HAHAHA I LOVE IT.

The word “enthrall” makes me think “being turned into a tree”.

I haven’t watched TV on purpose in a couple years. I’m not trying to brag, but TV SUCKS. TV is like depression medicine that makes you depressed. Some people like and that’s cool, but seriously, that’s not cool. Watch YOUTUBE. But anyway, I decided to watch a TV show tomorrow and I set an alarm so I can maybe wake up and watch it. We’ll see. Anyway, the reason I’ve changed my mind is that they turned a podcast I like into a TV show. And now that I’ve said all that, I’m thinking of the most violent way I can kill myself. I’m thinking about running myself over while I’m on fire. But I’m open to suggestions.

crusaderadolescent replied to your post: I’m going to write…

What’s the (pronounced “thee”) bane/hindrance of mankind?

i GUESS THE HINDRANCE OF MANKIND IS THEIR “SELVES”

i GUESS THAT EVERYONE HATES THEM “SELVES”

i NEVER MET ONE

*cough cough. sputter. die*

I don’t know how I’m supposed to stop doing this.

Sometimes, I think about doing something like this constantly until everyone stops talking to me. Even people in real life. They say, “why does he keep tapping the same buttons over and over?” And the obvious answer is because I sold my soul to robotics and lost my free will forever. But robotics is easier, so it just makes sense. Anyone could of predicted it. I predicted it myself. I knew I was a robotics person long before it was cool to know I was a robotics person.

I’m going to write about something tonight, probably in a few minutes, then i will post it next.

Oops. I wanted to say more. You’re just depending on generalizations. Haha. - Re: the hunting story, I wouldn’t suggest veganism to anyone if it wasn’t practical for such as someone with a lot of food allergies. I understand it’s not financially practical for a lot of people. That being said, I do not feel better than anyone who is not vegan. Just people who are capable of being vegan and understand the suffering of animals is needless. As for the environmental issues, I would like to see evidence that the packaging of plants is more disastrous than the packaging of meats. Also, meat eaters have higher rates of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

I’ll never be vegan. I’ll never be vegetarian.

If you are vegan for your health or because you don’t like meat
or other animal products, that’s fine. Do that if you like.
But why must you bash those who don’t choose to live that way?
As someone who has always had food brought home from my
father’s hunts, I couldn’t even imagine not respecting what I was
getting. I don’t eat deer meat and think “This stupid animal deserves
to be eaten!” I think, “Wow, my father was really lucky to have a
successful hunt!” Also, I find eating deer is completely fair. Deer
kill a lot of people too. That’s just the way of life. Give to the Earth,
take from the Earth, and repeat.

Your diet does not make you superior to anyone. It means you have
a vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore diet. Yes, animal cruelty is horrible.
But how is using a bow to shoot a deer, which are plentiful on the
land that we own (believe me, there is no extinction) to feed a family
wrong? We are not rich people and we do not have many options.
In my city we have Wal-Mart and WinnDixie. If we want to get nice
food we would have to travel thirty-forty minutes away.

Not everybody can live how you live, not everybody wants to.

Can we make diet like religion and not have it shoved down our throats?

Everyone has their reasons for why they believe a certain something.
Don’t expect that putting someone down and having an elitist attitude will convince someone to change their lifestyle. That’s just silly.

Anyway, if you’re a proud vegan then I’m a proud omnivore and that’s that.

between the vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores in the past few days.)

Damn straight. Also lol at chubby vegans who eat too many carbs to overcompensate for the lack of protein. Also lol at vegans who eat fish. Also lol at sickly frail vegans lacking in vitamin B12 because they’re too fucking lazy to research their diets properly to get these essentials. Also lol at vegans who think they are actually changing anything on this planet by abstaining from meat. The government subsidizes meat production to such an extent that it literally makes no difference to the industry, and I guarantee you you will never convince enough people on this planet to stop eating meat for it to happen. Meat has been part of people’s cultures since the dawn of time. If you want to choose to abstain, that’s great, but know that you’re doing it to make yourself feel less guilty and not that you are actually doing anything proactive. Do you pay income taxes? Sales taxes? Then you are supporting the mistreatment of animals. If you are really, truly passionate about the mistreatment of animals and industrial farming practices, become more involved in the legislative process rather than sit at home bitching about people who eat meat when it’s been a natural part of our, and other animal’s, diets since the dawn of time.

B12 is a large molecule compared to other vitamins and needs an enzyme called intrinsic factor to metabolize in your body. As you age you lose the ability to secret hydrochloric acid that helps to release Vitamin B12 from your food. To further exacerbate the problem it is hard to absorb through the stomach so even if you are eating foods or taking supplements that are rich in Vitamin B12 it is unlikely that you are getting enough. You would only absorb around 1% at best from a capsule supplement dose.

This is a vitamin that is known to supply us with energy but it is also good for the formation of your red blood cells and the support of your immune system. It also helps your body produce melatonin that helps you sleep so if you have difficulty sleeping you may benefit from more B12.

Other deficiency symptoms according to Dr. Gabriel Cousens, include ‘diarrhea, fever, infertility, sore tongue, enlargement of the mucous membranes of the mouth, vagina and stomach, macrocytic anemia and low white blood cells and platelet count.’ It may also be a factor in babies who show ‘failure to thrive’.  Lack of B12 can lead to children being neurologically impaired because they need B12 for the development of their neurological and hematological systems.  There are three reported cases of children dying of B12 deficiency so it’s pretty important.

Studies show that about 80% of vegans or live fooders become B12 deficient and 39% of meat-eaters are B12 deficient.  If you suspect you are deficient then get tested.  The gold standard test is a methylmalonic acid test. Standard tests may show you false results.

Yeah. Sorry to rain on your parade.

unspecializeart asked: I think Internet Poetry makes sense if you think of it as a reaction to the poetry that came before it. As in a conversation, the previously held ideals are being reacted to in any of the ways a person can react. Sometimes they are affirmed, sometimes negated, sometimes modified, and sometimes critiqued. I don’t think pointless art can exist. Meaning can be added to it, and there’s a very strong message that the high art of the modern era —the Shakespeares etc.—isn’t the only kind of good art

the-inside-of-my-head:

I think we’re both approaching this in different ways. You seem to be talking about art as merely being a reaction to whatever else exists, e.g. context. […] For me art should be pointless because everything else is.

am i being a sophist if i see a contradiction here?

What do you mean? Since I said that, I think I might of made an unfalsifiable statement but where is the contradiction?
